The live music and concert production company needed an update to the ecommerce website for it’s owned and operated venues in order to integrate with a new ticketing system.

Role

For my second website redesign for the Slim's Presents brand, I worked with a freelance designer to create a dynamic, fully responsive, mobile-first website inspired by the infinite browse-ability of apps like Netflix.

Strategy

Using data insights from previous iterations of the website, I developed a content strategy that surfaced high-value information in a clear, organized way. The updated site would leverage a sophisticated cross-linking and tagging strategy to power recommendations, themed features, and more, to drive deeper engagement, scroll depth, and increase conversions. The brand’s focus on content would continue, with prominent use of featured blogs, podcasts, videos, photo galleries, and more.

Outcome

The site was the first deep API integration of the Eventbrite ticketing system into a large-scale venue website and the transition went off seamlessly, in part due to my management of the implementation and rollout (other credits going to the talented web developers Hand Hugs and Chime Interactive and the awesome product by Eventbrite). 

As a result of the updated strategy and design, online sales revenue increased by nearly 100%, driven primarily by an 84% increase in the conversion rate from the previous year.
